Dear concert guests,
For hotel guests of Schloss Elmau, admission to all cultural events is included in the resort fee. You can register for the events online via “Book seats” here in the cultural calendar, by phone on +49 8823 18 260 or by text message to +49 1733 1122 77.
Permanent Residents of the region within a radius of 80 km (driving distance) are welcome to purchase tickets, subject to availability (hotels, guesthouses or vacation rentals do not count as a permanent address). Tickets can be purchased online via "Book seats" here in the cultural calendar.

    71st Chamber Music Week

    The Chamber Music Week has been at the heart of Schloss Elmau's cultural program at since the 1950s. This festival week was particularly shaped by the Amadeus Quartet and the composer Benjamin Britten, who visited Elmau many times and even premiered several works here. This year, to mark the 50th anniversary of Britten's death in 2026, some of Britten's key works will also be represented in the concerts of the 71st Chamber Music Week alongside the chamber music repertoire of Classical and Romantic greats Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Brahms.

    He is one of the most successful European jazz musicians ever and one of the world's best trombonists. Now, for the third time, Nils Landgren is curating his own festival at Schloss Elmau. For this event, "Mr. Redhorn", as he is known because of his red instrument, has invited long-standing musical partners and friends from the worlds of jazz and classical music.

    With Joel Lyssarides, Robert Ikiz & Lars Danielsson, plus a different guest musician every evening

    Seit fünf Jahrzehnten ist Wolfgang Haffner auf allen Kontinenten zu Hause. Er hat mit den Größten des Jazz musiziert und fühlt sich in unterschiedlichsten Stilrichtungen gleichermaßen wohl. Wer ihn einmal live erlebt hat, wird von seinem Spiel mitgerissen – so viel Freude und positive Energie bringt er auf die Bühne. Schloss Elmau ist ihm längst zur zweiten Heimat geworden.
