For hotel guests of Schloss Elmau, admission to all cultural events is included in the resort fee. You can register for the events online via “Book seats” here in the cultural calendar, by phone on +49 8823 18 260 or by text message to +49 1733 1122 77.
Permanent Residents of the region within a radius of 80 km (driving distance) are welcome to purchase tickets, subject to availability (hotels, guesthouses or vacation rentals do not count as a permanent address). Tickets can be purchased online via "Book seats" here in the cultural calendar.

    Piano Summit with Víkingur Ólafsson

    This piano summit brings outstanding pianists to Schloss Elmau: Icelandic piano star Víkingur Ólafsson returns to Elmau with his new solo programme of Beethoven sonatas, as do the internationally acclaimed brother duo Lucas & Arthur Jussen with highlights from the literature for two pianos and four hands. The festival is rounded off by Dmitry Shishkin (silver medal winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition), who is highly praised by fellow pianists and critics alike, and Anna Vinnitskaya (1st prize at the Concours Reine Elisabeth), who regularly performs with orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic.

Auf einer Wanderung über mehrere Stationen bis zur Elmauer Alm stellt Mutzke immer wieder Ausschnitte seines Buchs vor und gibt einen Einblick über Themen, die ihn beschäftigen, über seinen Alltag als Popmusiker und als mehrfacher Vater.

    Dancing makes you happy and keeps you young! Dancing has a long tradition at Schloss Elmau. At this dance retreat, you can learn new dance steps and improve your existing skills over four days in 90-minute group courses under the guidance of expert dance instructors.

    The “European Jazz Festival” is the annual highlight of the Elmau jazz programme. This year's festival is curated by Siggi Loch, a music manager, producer and founder of the ACT label who has played a key role in shaping the jazz scene over the last few decades. Over six festival days, he will bring together formations from his “Jazz at Berlin Philharmonic” concert series in the atmospherically illuminated Elmau Concert Hall: big names in jazz, first-class groups and newcomers from the young international jazz scene.

    7st Chamber Music Week

    The Elmau Chamber Music Week has been at the heart of the cultural programme at Schloss Elmau since the 1950s. The Amadeus Quartet and the composer Benjamin Britten, who visited Elmau many times and even premiered several works there, have had a special influence on this festival week and brought it a great artistic flourish. In the concerts of the 71st Chamber Music Week, Britten will be present with some of his important compositions to mark the 50th anniversary of his death in 2026, alongside great chamber music repertoire from the Classical and Romantic periods by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Brahms.
