The 72nd edition, marking the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s death, places a special focus on his great chamber music works: the cello sonatas with Daniel Müller-Schott and Francesco Piemontesi, the violin sonatas with Viktoria Mullova, and the string quartets performed by the young and award-winning Leonkoro Quartet.
